Ribs Return to Recipes
Ingredients:
- Pork or Beef Ribs
- Ají Honey Garlic or Ají BBQ
Directions:
1) Place in a deep baking pan
2) Apply a thin coat of either Ají Honey Garlic or BBQ and poke with a fork
3) Add water (just enough to submerge the underside of the ribs)
4) Cover and bake in moderate oven at 350°F for 1.5 hours
5) After 30 minutes, flip ribs over, baste using the juices in the pan, and poke with a fork
6) In 30 minutes, flip ribs back over and lightly baste with Ají
7) Remove cover in the last 5-10 minutes to allow ribs to brown and reach an internal temperature of 170°F or 77°C
8) Remove ribs from the oven (either apply one more thin coat of Ají or pour it into a bowl to use as a dipping sauce)
9) Cover ribs and allow to sit for 5-10 minutes before serving.
