Cinco de Mayo is widely celebrated across the America's. On the fifth of May, this holiday celebrates the date of the Mexican Army's victory over France at the Battle of Puebla during the Franco-Mexican War.
This celebration has evolved into a commemoration of Mexican culture and heritage. In Mexico, traditions include military parades, recreations of the Battle of Puebla, and other festive events. In the United States and other heavily populated Mexican populations, revellers celebrate with parades, parties, mariachi music, Mexican folk dancing, and traditional foods such as tacos and mole poblano.
This year, we're celebrating the best way we know how, by cooking and sharing our favourite Mexican dishes - Tacos, Guacamole, and a Meat Mix perfect for any meal! Check out the videos below for these yummy recipes!
